Miss Universe 2014 Winner

The 22-year old Colombian beauty pageant titleholder Paulina Vega has been crowned the Miss Universe title for the year 2014. Miss Universe 2014 held on January 25, 2015 at the FIU Arena at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, USA. Paulina won the title by defeating 87 contenders from across the globe. The 2013-winner Gabriela Isler of Venezuela crowned her as the new titleholder of the 63rd Miss Universe pageant. She is the second person to secure this title from Colombia.

Bangladeshi Actress Neer Quick Facts

Kazi Rumana Islam Neer (কাজী রোমানা ইসলাম নীড়) is a rising Bangladeshi film actress. Recently she has created much controversy by lodging a GD Entry against Abdul Awal, the producer of the film Utala Mon, allegedly for making amorous advances to her. Afterwards, receiving countless threats from the producer to withdraw the complaint, Neer filed a case in Dhaka Subordinate Court. Additionally, Neer accused the producer for using her obscene fake picture in the poster to promote the film. In a counter reaction, the producer has also sent a Legal Notice to Neer alleging her degrading his reputation by false complaint. After much drama the matter is halfway of settlement. Both the parties have agreed to withdraw the complaints. Neer chiefly decided to withdraw the litigation and GD Entry and the court case right after the producer pledged to make her the main heroin of the film. It is to be noted that at first Neer was chosen as the Side Heroin of the film Utala Mon. The film is near completion and very shortly it will be submitted to the sensor board for approval.

Her allegation has become a hot gossip amongst Bangladeshi people since it coincides with the recent scandalous accusation of another Bangladeshi actress Naznin Akter Happy.

Ministry of Food Job Circular 2015

Ministry of Food of Government of the People’s Republic Bangladesh has invited job application from legitimate Bangladeshi citizens for different posts on temporary basis. The total number of vacancies is 21 (twenty one) and the job location is at Dhaka. Interested candidates have been asked to submit handwritten application in plain paper as per prescribed format along with necessary documents such as, (1) photocopies of all academic certificates (2) experience Certificates for (3) training certificate (4) 04 copies of recent passport size photographs (5) character certificate (6) citizenship certificate (7) photocopy of National ID Card (8) NOC for in-service applicants (9) treasury challan of Tk. 100/- for applicants falling under Sl. No.: 1 to 5 and Tk. 50/- for Sl. No. 6. (10) 9.5”x4.5” return envelope with address and Tk. 5 postal stamp. All relevant documents should be duly attested by a Class-1 Gazetted Officer. In addition, the candidates must write the name of post, division, and quota on top of the envelope. The interested candidates are being requested to apply by February 11, 2015.
