Kazi Rumana Islam Neer (কাজী রোমানা ইসলাম নীড়) is a rising Bangladeshi film actress. Recently she has created much controversy by lodging a GD Entry against Abdul Awal, the producer of the film Utala Mon, allegedly for making amorous advances to her. Afterwards, receiving countless threats from the producer to withdraw the complaint, Neer filed a case in Dhaka Subordinate Court. Additionally, Neer accused the producer for using her obscene fake picture in the poster to promote the film. In a counter reaction, the producer has also sent a Legal Notice to Neer alleging her degrading his reputation by false complaint. After much drama the matter is halfway of settlement. Both the parties have agreed to withdraw the complaints. Neer chiefly decided to withdraw the litigation and GD Entry and the court case right after the producer pledged to make her the main heroin of the film. It is to be noted that at first Neer was chosen as the Side Heroin of the film Utala Mon. The film is near completion and very shortly it will be submitted to the sensor board for approval.
