Jannatul Nayeem Avril was born in 1997 in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Her parents are Taher Miah and Reziya Begum. She has two brothers and one sister. In March 21, 2013 Avril's father arranged her marriage with Monjur Uddin Rana, a clothes trader. However, on June 11 of the same year Jannatul signed the divorce paper. Pursuant to her former husband's statement, Avril stayed with him for two months. Then she went to her father's residence and eloped from there to Dhaka.Career
Avril started her career as the first lady biker of the country. Later on she turned her career into the modeling industry. She appeared in several music videos and attained positive reception. Her most recent success was securing the Miss World Bangladesh 2017 title by defeating 25,000 participants. She was crowned in the grand finale held on September 29, 2017 at International Convention City, Bashundhara’s Nabaratri Hall. Accordingly she was all set to represent Bangladesh in the upcoming Miss World 2017 beauty pageant, scheduled to be held in China in December. But unfortunately, Avril could retain her crown only for 5 days. Due to alleged information hiding charges she has been stripped of her crown on October 4, 2017. Resultantly, the organizer of the contest crowned the first runner up Jessia Islam as the new Miss World Bangladesh.
