Verify your Treasury Challan Online

In Bangladesh Treasury Challan is the most widely used medium for paying  government recruitment fees. Moreover, the Treasury Challan is also used for payment of many other government fees. The main plus point of Treasury Challan is that it deposits the instructed fund directly into the government treasury through a government code number. The treasury Challan can be sent either from Bangladesh Bank or from Sonali Bank Ltd. In order to pay fees through a Treasury Challan you just need to fill in the prescribed form and deposit the same along with the fund in any preferred Branch of either Bangladesh Bank or Sonali Bank Ltd.

Although it is very easy to pay fees via Treasury Challan, after the payment you are always concerned whether or not the money has been deposited. Well, things have changed lately. Following the footsteps of digitalization, the government has started an online service for Treasury Challan verification. With the help of this method you will be able to verify the deposit of your Treasury Challan. To check the status please follow the following steps:

Step -1: Visit http://www.cga.gov.bd/
Step -2: Then “Click Online Challan Verification” from the right side bar under “Internal E-Services”
Step -3: Provide the following information:

• Select Challan date
• Nature of deposit (Select whether in Cash, Cheque, Transfer, or  e-Payment)
• Select the desired bank
• Select branch
• Insert Challan Number

Step - 4: Click “Verify “

If you have entered the right information you will be provided the details of your Treasury Challan. You can take a print if you wish.
