About Unmad Magazine
Unmad is a very popular satirical magazine in Bangladesh. Unmad represents its satire through cartoon characters. The subject magazine was founded in the year 1978 by two friends Kazi Khaleed Ashraf and Ishtiaq Hossain with Saiful Haque and Ilias Khan. The first issue of Unmad was published in May 1978 and the endeavour was welcomed by readers of all age groups. Ahsan Habib joined the team during the publication of the second issue.From the ninth issue Ahsan Habib took over the responsibility of the Unmad Publications from the founder editors. Habib also made it a monthly magazine from a tri-monthly magazine. At present the magazine still continues to rule under the editorship of Ahsan Habib. Unmad is the longest running regular monthly magazine of the country as well as of the south Asia.
