Shoe odors can be highly embarrassing, especially when you are hanging around with other people. Surprisingly, you are not affected by the foul smell since you get well-accustomed with it! But whoever comes around you gets the immediate shock. Most of them will try to endure as long as it possible just to maintain the politeness. But ultimately many will surrender to the sinister smell and tell you to wash your feet. So it is always better if you try to make your shoe odorless.

Home Remedies for Shoe Odor

This is a common problem during the winter season though someone may experience it throughout the year. You can, however get rid of shoe odor naturally:
  • The most effective method is to use orange peels. It is very simple, just put some orange peels inside your shoes overnight and you will hopefully get an odorless pair of shoes.
  • Secondly, you can use old newspaper, which is a most available thing in every house. You can apply this method by putting some torn out papers inside your shoes overnight.
  • Thirdly, you may spray white vinegar inside your shoes to kill the bacteria responsible for creating the foul odor.
  • Fourthly, using baby powder inside your shoes may also help managing the odor, though less effectively.
  • Last but not least, always avoid wearing a pair of socks twice without washing it. Wash your socks with detergent after every use because this will help you a lot to fight against the bacteria causing the smell. To get the best result you may also soak your socks in white vinegar before washing it.
The above remedies have proven very effective when I personally dealt with my super smelly shoes. Hope these work for you as well. Good luck!
