Step 1: Recover your phone quickly from water, switch it off and remove the back cover. Now take out the SIM card and memory card.
Step 2: Now try to dry your phone without wasting any time. Remember, if you keep your phone wet for a long time then it might get damaged.
Step 3: Use a cloth or towel to wipe the visible water, if any. Now use a hair dryer to dry it from inside.
Step 4: In absence of a hair dryer you can put your phone under a bowl of rice (uncooked of course) for at least two days. The rice is capable of absorbing moist from any object. Hopefully, it will also give you a dry and working phone in return!
Step 5: Lastly, you can wrap the phone with 2-3 layers of tissue paper and keep it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes. Now take out your phone from the refrigerator, install the battery and try to turn it on. If it does not turn on then you don’t need to panic, just keep it inside the refrigerator wrapped with tissue paper for another 20-30 minutes.
