The age of children is the time of physical growth and mental development. In order to grow up healthy, at this time special importance should be given to the baby's food inventory.

Most parents try to feed their children fruits and vegetables regularly. But in addition to this, the children need to be fed some food which will develop their brain and increase their intelligence and attention.

Five foods that increase a child's brainpower

Here are 5 foods to increase the child's intelligence and attention - which can be fed to a child aged 12 months and above.

1/5 - Eggs

Children's brains develop at a significant rate. Choline is a nutrient that plays an important role at this time. Choline is required to make memory cells in the brain. Adequate choline is found in egg yolks. An egg yolk can provide about the same amount of nutrients as choline per day for up to eight years. Eggs are also rich in protein, iron, vitamin A and folate - all of which are needed for cell growth, development and repair. So if the child is not allergic to eggs, encourage them to eat eggs every day.

2/5 - Oily fish

Oily fish can be very beneficial. Eating fish rich in omega 3 is important for brain development and health. Omega 3 fatty acids are one of the building blocks for cell growth. These nutrients play a role in neurotransmitter function and help to control behavioral problems. Some studies have shown that low levels of omega-3 are associated with lower levels of memory, while omega-3 supplements have increased memory function.

3/5 - Whole grains

Children should have whole grains for breakfast. Rich in carbohydrates, these foods provide glucose and energy to the brain. It also contains lots of B vitamins - which keep the nervous system healthy and nourished. Many studies have found that whole grain breakfasts can increase short-term memory and attention. On the other hand, there was no significant change in the intake of refined carbohydrates for breakfast. Wholegrains also contain high amounts of fiber which regulates gastrointestinal uptake in the body.

4/5 - Beans

Bean seeds contain high levels of protein, vitamins and minerals. Pinto and kidney beans are high in omega-3 fats, which are essential for brain growth and function. If the children are fed beans and sent to school, their mind will remain attentive in the classroom. In addition, these foods will keep them fresh for a long time. All seeds excellent source of protein, iron, folic acid, potassium, magnesium and essential fatty acids. All of these nutrients are needed during pregnancy. These foods also contain fiber, which can prevent and cure two common pregnancy discomforts, namely constipation and piles.

5/5 - Milk

Milk, yogurt and cheese are so nutritious foods that they can be included in the baby's diet without doubting. Dairy protein, B vitamins and other nutrients are essential for the growth of brain tissue, neurotransmitters and enzymes. All of this contributes significantly to the functioning of the brain. Another benefit is that these foods are rich in calcium so eating them will strengthen the teeth and bones and keep them healthy. Children may need different levels of calcium depending on their age. Try to give your baby two to three types of calcium-rich foods.
